Chris Underwood, Partner/CEO
Mr. Underwood has gained his experience in real estate through his family’s construction business that has built over 1500+ custom homes, a commercial building consisting of a 10 unit office complex, 50+ spec homes, and 100+ land/lot purchases. Upon entering the SFR distressed asset market in 2009 Mr. Underwood has purchased over 500+ residential fix and flip residential properties, hotels, and multiple vacant land scenarios between 1/2 to 60 acres. In 2014 Mr. Underwood and Mr. Scurlock teamed up to begin a real estate acquisition firm in Central Florida.  To date they have purchased over 1,000+ homes and own a portfolio of 150+ SFR rental homes.
Joe Scurlock, Partner/CSO
Mr. Scurlock has been involved in real estate since 1996 and has owned and operated many real estate focused companies from Lending & Mortgage, Acquisitions, Title, Real Estate Publications, and Legal.  Mr. Scurlock has been a highly active in real estate investing and has purchased, leased and sold distressed assets in the Florida and Oregon markets. Mr. Scurlock has a thorough understanding of the real estate industry and was a principle owner of one of the nation’s largest mortgage banking firm.  His companies have been involved in over $3 billion in Single Family Residential sales and mortgages and to date he has purchased over 1,000+ homes and is a partner in a SFR rental portfolio with 150+ homes.
John McGraw, Legal Counsel
Education, Honors, and Academic Achievements
Jon I. McGraw was born in Pensacola, Fla., in 1981. He earned a degree in Risk Management at the University of Georgia Terry College of Business in 2003, graduating with honors. Mr. McGraw then studied at the University of Florida Levin College of Law in Gainesville, Florida, where he received a Juris Doctorate with honors in 2007.

Mr. McGraw joined Schatt Hesser McGraw in 2015 as a partner and shareholder, bringing his knowledge and experience in Real Estate laws to the firm. His practice areas focus on real estate and transactional closings.

Before he joined Schatt Hesser McGraw, Mr. McGraw represented an array of corporate clients and commercial lenders while working as an attorney with Ocala law firm R. William Futch PA from 2006 to 2009. During his legal career, Mr. McGraw has conducted more than 500 real estate closings.
